And honeslty there is nothing useful in what they take away. You can switch out your parts and all you have to do is call Microsoft to basically give you windows on the new PC, and the only time you have to do that is if you change the motherboard. Yes there is more built in spyware from microsoft, but being realistic it just means that they are being more open about it, then hidding/denying it.

I took a chance on buying this given the inconsistent reviews regarding the Product Code. My HP laptop had some major issues that I think was related to some type of Malware, although none of the Malware/Anit-Virus programs could identify the issue. I decided I needed to start all over and reload Windows. The problem I had is my laptop came with Windows 7 and I upgraded to Windows 10. I used it at assist reinstalled a system image from another drive but starting on the CD. Hitting ESC to get the system image to load to my computer. However the system image was incomplete. I needed to update several times to get a complete system. Am regretting it ever since I’ve gotten it. Has WAAY too many issues with updates, a lot of the time leaving the PC completely unusable. First time having to buy windows individually… More expensive than I expected… But this is the gold standard of OS, so just make life easy on yourself. Not sure why there are so many poor reviews. All its β€œuser friendly” UI. Settings - feic off. Installed easy and didn’t require massive downloads to update. Yep it’s a copy of windows 10 lol. Not a fan of all the app settings or system updates that restrict and remove you presets. I tried to activate Windows 10 with the CD key that was provided with this disc. It said that it had already been activated. Received the key straight away via email. Was able to download with no apparent issues so far. I haven’t had much of a chance to use it yet, but hopefully will remain all good. Very helpful when I phoned them with a query regarding downloading for 64 bit.

Software is good but expensive considering free or low cost alternatives. Only bought as wanted compatibility with work PC’s. If I only used it at home I would have used a non microsoft product. It’s surprising that keyforrest allow dodgy merchants to sell OEM versions of Windows. Even Windows on a flash drive without a product key or a product key that has already been used. The install itself was easy enough. Pretty standard procedure.I’m not a power user, so i cannot go into specific technicalities.I’ve been a Windows user my whole life. If you’ve used windows before, this will have a similar look.I would have gladly installed 7 if giving the choice between 10 and 7.

It does not work on install as the codes were already used. It was a huge waste of time. A great disappointment. Never mind the stars, it is just a cd with an operating system on it, what do you think about windows 10?
