Just installed, cant active when first fresh install, skipped product key and success active the windows after finished installation. Most of the negative reviews here are from people who are not understanding what they are purchasing. This upgrades Windows 10 Home to Windows 10 Pro to get the extra features in that version. The license key is delivered via email and you just need to pull up Activation in your Windows 10 settings to apply the new key. I bought this to upgrade my wife’s Dell Inspiron 17R with Windows 7 Home premium 64 bit. She never really liked windows 7 and it had become slow and always seemed to update each time she got on it. I had the hard drive replaced with a SSD and Windows bit OEM and she loves it. I like it as well and plan on upgrading my Windows 8.1 sometime soon. You will display more professionalism with this product.Additionally by now, I do have to say that the drivers for the latest graphic cards/GPU are very broken on Windows 10.
My lack of enthusiasm about the product stems from the forced sign in to Microsoft. Very invasive and frankly, typical of the direction technology is headed. You can still upgrade from a non windows 10 pc for free. It works however I could not give it 5 stars for the fact It not that user friendly like xp or window 7. Still try to get myself familiarize the the features. Do not install this on your computers because Windows 10 automatic updates will hold your computer hostage without no way to turn off automatic updates. Got this for my gaming PC build, it’s as close to bare-bones as you can get with major operating systems, works great for me.You can customize it to fit your specific needs, there are some great options. Worked as expected for my build. Genuine Windows 10 Pro licensed. Working well on the computer I installed it on in the living room. Mainly use for streaming media and playing games. And some checking of e-mail and Facebook. No problems so far, although the Edge browser does not seem to integrate with the Norton security from Comcast as yet. My windows10 pro was emailed to me and i had no problem downloading and activating windows. Thank you so much for your help. I got the license key. Tried it immediately. I then used another install disc. The new activation code without issue. I purchased the key today but it will not work to upgrade windows home edition. The link provided in these Q/A will not provide an iso. I have sent a message to the seller band will remain optimistic that they will reply with a solution, however the KEY is Useless so far. I did not bother to read the reviews here before making this purchase, since I assumed they were reviews of the product - Windows 10 Pro 64. Not that it mattered much, since the text on that page is in a tiny font, and is illegible without a magnifying glass. There is plenty of white space around the text. Whoever designed the package could easily have used a larger font, but chose not to.When I looked for the Windows 10 installation key, I found - nothing! Fortunately a poster here mentioned that you have to scratch off the square patch of silver coating on the β€œTHIS IS NOT A COAβ€ sticker to reveal the key beneath. How many calls has Microsoft received from customers who did not know that they had to scratch off the silver coating? It peels off.While I was eventually able to get Windows installed and activated, it does not surprise me that so many purchasers here decided that this was not a legitimate Microsoft product. I cannot believe that this package was ever tested before release. Whoever designed this monstrosity belongs in a different line of work. So I can only re-install windows 10 home. W
