I used DesignSpark Mechanical a lot and really liked it. After a brutal learning curve, I switched to Fusion 360. I am OK with saving my files locally, I never wanted to store them on the cloud in the first programa maya 3d place. Not used them for a year as I use Altium for work, but want to get back to hobbyist stuff w/ eagle. F360 still exports like 10 formats, a bunch of which are read by other software like solidworks.
