Not a big deal really, just click the β€œcall supportβ€ button and and call the number. I have mixed feelings about this. I upgraded my laptops with it and it work as it should but had problems until the first update they came out with, now I have no problems.Why mixed feelings? I am doing a clean install on a desktop computer using a new WD 1T drive. It meets requirements to use it but no matter what I do I can not get it to install. I’m still annoyed that I had to buy this. Microsoft would not accept my prevous windows product ID for an upgrade. However, Windows 10 does really seem to be huge leap forward from Win7 - so far so good. Looking at these reviews i was praying 3Π΄ΠΌΠ°ΠΊΡ ΡΠΊΠ°Ρ‡Π°Ρ‚ΡŒ i didnt get one where the activation key was already used but i had no issues. I get a message saying this product key has been used on another device, and it says to buy a genuine copy of Windows. The photo is the message I received.
After ten tries, I started the return process through keyforrest.Next I proceeded to buy the Windows 10 Home version from the Microsoft website. Microsoft provided me with an ISO image of Win 10 to download as I am running Linux. My system can not use the MS USB creation install too. Microsoft also e-mailed me a COA license. This way you can be sure the license has not been acquired by someone else already.I am an enthusiastic keyforrest customer, check my other reviews and feedback. When buying Windows 10 though, the best way, and the only way that worked for me, is through the Microsoft website. I can’t really say that i am a huge fan of windows 10. Extremely effecient. Time saving. Works great with every computer i’ve used it with. The product key worked with both my desktop. Laptop with no problems. I had downloaded the free Windows 10 update, but it just didn’t work well and was slow. I reinstalled from the disc. Had great results.
And honeslty there is nothing useful in what they take away. You can switch out your parts and all you have to do is call Microsoft to basically give you windows on the new PC, and the only time you have to do that is if you change the motherboard. And Windows support isn’t really useful anyways, it still comes with troubleshooting and such so you really don’t lose anything. Yes there is more built in spyware from microsoft, but being realistic it just means that they are being more open about it, then hidding/denying it. My son purchased this to put on his custom computer. It has caused so many issues. My husband installed the free offer from Microsoft, he upgraded from Windows 7 and ever since he has had the same issues. Some times it won’t connect to the internet, he gets a blue screen quite often. I would not suggest buying this anytime soon, let them get the bugs out.
