After activation the software is stored on the laptop but takes a while to load up when opening. Compared to buying an annual subscription this is very cheap. Even if it means I have to buy one for each device it is still reasonable. An easy to install programme. It then restarted my computer. Up came the fully implemented version of Windows 10. Better than Windows 8 by a far cry but it will never rival the easy simplicity of Windows 7 or XP. It is close enough to Windows 7 however that it’s tolerable enough to keep, but still too far away to get comfortable with it quickly. It’s a sleek OS. I’m happy with it. Real and legitimate Windows 10 OEM 64 bit disk received and worked fine, despite other reviews. I install Windows 10 ALL the time. Thought I’d try a reduced price version. It looked just like the original. I waited to purchase a key until after the install was complete. I could load into the system settings to register the software. Out of stubbornness I did try my old windows 7 key before purchasing, but got the invalid key result that I expected. From completing the purchase, to typing in the received code and activating a genuine copy of windows 10 can’t have taken more than a couple of minutes.
The secretary of one of my tenants went to lunch, and while she was gone, Windows 10 began installing itself on her machine. This could happen while you sleep. But otherwise, things seem to work faster with it and more reliably. I still think that Windows HP was the best of them. Windows 10 should cost less because it comes with annoying / big-brother-esque advertising for other Microsoft software. After logging into a Microsoft screen sharing application with an online Microsoft account, my OS user profile forced me to login and authenticate as my Microsoft account.
Would give β€œno starsβ€ if could. Stopped working after 4 months. Supposed to be one time purchase. Told key was invalid after repeatedly trying to input key code. I will never buy another windows product again. I will be encouraging the few who still even use Windows that I know to do the same. Showed up on time. Installed easily. It’s not a retail copy of windows. So don’t expect fancy packaging.
