With the integration of CNC in Fusion 360, I bought a CNC and learning to machine some of the parts. My main use is building test fixtures. Then printing exported stl parts. I’m pretty sure the Eagle import got implemented autocad license price in pakistan when Autodesk started fencing off the commons with Eagle. The sad reality is that when Eagle is milked dry, they will shitcan it and it will no longer be offered to anyone for any money; it will become dead software.

Using proprietary solutions is a virulent problem in the maker community. The consequences of such should be suffered to learn. That Autodesk is in the business to make money is not something to justify anything nor grant them a free pass in community good will-every company should have its enemies to keep them in check. In opposition, I am in the business of not spending money and consuming as little as possible, and I encourage others to do similarly.
