I’m still not a big fan of the menus that are block-style , but it’s still pretty easy to use. I’m not saying I love it because it still has some usability issues. Sometimes it’s difficult to locate things as quickly as I can with other systems. I am a little dismayed with how expensive it is, but alas this is something I required to run a computer at all. I found the change from Win 7 to Win 10 was not as bad as I had feared. I spent a couple of hours customizing settings. Am quite pleased with Win 10 so far.
The problem is many of them can’t be turned off with a quick radio button. Be ready to modify the registry if you intend to have it work as smoothly as windows 7. The product came in standard authentic Microsoft packaging. This is an authentic product. Was delivered in a timely fashion. Built a new computer. Needed W/10. Inserted a flash drive to download it from the Microsoft web site and it kept stopping at 98% and told me there was a problem. I decided to contact M/soft and ended up talking to a lass who proclaimed she was in training.
I recently started putting together a new pc. I made the mistake of not reading the reviews for Window 10, which fortunately I’m at least still able to return since I’m in the 30 day window. If you plan on using Win 10 for gaming, you may want to consider checking online to see if any of your hardware has had any known technical issues with Win 10. Win 10 and Nvidia graphic cards have had a variety compatibility issues for years now, which I’ve been unfortunate enough to have to deal with it the moment I installed my graphic card. The features are good. It runs very smoothly on my p.c!c! I would recommend Windows 10 to anybody. This is definitely a MAJOR improvement over windows 8. I takes me back to windows 7 and before.
DO NOT BUY. Don’t take the risk. Lets be clear, I only bought this to get the free upgrade to Windows 10. I would never recommend 8/8.1 to anyone as the experience is so far removed from what makes windows approachable. Bought this to install on my new Seagate Barracuda 2TB HD. It installed ok the first time but I had problems reinstalling it after the HDD crashed a number of times……. It actually refused to acknowledge the Product Key!! I’m still annoyed that I had to buy this. Microsoft would not accept my prevous windows product ID for an upgrade. However, Windows 10 does really seem to be huge leap forward from Win7 - so far so good. Looking at these reviews i was praying i didnt get one where the activation key was already used but i had no issues. I get a message saying this product key has been used on another device, and it says to buy a genuine copy of Windows. The photo is the message I received. My son purchased this to put on his custom computer. It has caused so many issues. My husband installed the free offer from Microsoft, he upgraded from Windows 7 and ever since he has had the same issues. Some times it won’t connect to the internet, he gets a blue screen quite often. I would not suggest buying this anytime soon, let them get the bugs out.
But it doesn’t have the key code on it which is what I wanted.. It does work but honestly, I think its overpriced.. This is exactly what I was looking for! A full version of Windows 10 on disk!! For some reason I had a heck of a time finding this I could only find USB Flash drives.I will not bore you with Windows 10 review stuff!! It’s surprising that keyforrest allow dodgy merchants to sell OEM versions of Windows. Even Windows on a flash drive without a product key or a product key that has already been used.
