It only upgraded me to Enterprise, then I restarted and reentered the code and it upgraded to pro. If a problem arises, it is illegal to buy the license from Turkey. If this reseller is a legitimate distributor, Microsoft will revoke its relationship. I’ve been researching cost saving ways of purchasing Windows 10 Pro, but other than a sale, there is limitations. You will not likely save this much . Purchased late at night, still received the license by email within an hour or so. Was able to activate my recently-installed Windows 10 Pro right away. This product did not work. No response from seller or keyforrest. The Product key not only did not activate the product, it was blocked by Microsoft. Completely worthless without a software key.
As far as the OS is concerned, you get the same old constant nag screens and same old stupid architecture. Performance is good after a bare metal install as were earlier releases. When bit rot sets in over time, I am willing to bet performance will suffer. After all, its still Microsoft windows. A lot of work on the level of editing system policy. Registry which only computer-savvy users can accomplish. One can block servers which Microsoft uses to spy on you on your home router. Plan on a wasted day of working on it. Plan on a day of cursing Microsoft. Plan on a day of wondering why did you not switch to Mac or Linux yet. Plan to thinking β€œthis OS sucks but I can sort of get used to it and tolerate itβ€.Microsoft makes a good version of Windows, free of data collection, Cortana, and bloatware. It is called Enterprise edition, but it is not available to retail customers. It is only available to corporate customers who cannot accept any leaks of data outside of their corporate network. Windows 7 remains a better (more user-friendly) OS than Windows 10. Only issue was a Microsoft problem. The Disk would only install Windows 10 Home.
Their web and knowledge base is available for help, just not telephone support. Other than that, it’s Windows 10. Many people have opinions about that. Mine is that it’s way better than Windows 8.0. My old computer had problems when upgraded to Windows 10 so I built a new PC. Once I managed that, it spent the next couple of hours downloading and installing all the updates that the flash drive didn’t contain, with multiple reboots. You’d be better off to use the Microsoft website to download an up-to-date installer to a local flash drive, and just use the registration key from this package. I purchased product in Aug 2017. I didn’t know what was going on. Didn’t want to turn off the PC thinking maybe it was installing. Left the computer on, went to grab lunch for an hour and came back and screen was still off. At this point I hit the power switch on the PC, when I turned it back on I was a the Windows login screen. I read lots of reviews on here about people being prompted throughout the installation process and ways to turn off privacy concerns during this process, in essence I missed out the whole thing. Last Windows I used was Windows 7 btw. This entire Windows 10 interface is still alien to me.
You will need to develop different use habits since it doesn’t run like Older unsupported versions. Great product. Fast delivery. I’ve been trying to get through to an actual person at microsoft, as you can not over the phone anymore, for weeks now. The product key is invalid. Will not work activate.
