It’s Microsoft’s way of protecting itself against pirated software. So this is an online purchase to upgrade your personal computer from Windows 10 Home to Window 10 Professional. I have successfully upgraded from Windows 10 Home to Windows 10 Pro on two personal laptops. Cost is less than $100 each license and it is legit, no eBay specials here. I too read the negative reviews but once you realize that this product is only an upgrade from Win 10 Home to Win 10 Pro then you will not be disappointed with the results. Please perform your due diligence before you purchase any item. I am sorry for the people that did not understand what they were buying but I cannot believe they blame the seller of this product with low stars. Everything is working correctly. The code was legit. Ordered this for my new PC build. Package was as described, but inside was a disc for Windows 7 Pro 32 Bit!! Works and doesn’t crash but all the privacy problems. Scratch and Sniff key reveal also reveals that their is a printing issue with some very dark ink marks obscuring the key. Expect a long re-install for the US Verison of Windows 10. Great I needed windows 10 now I can do many things. Easy to install, fixed my system problem and works great.
Of course I also had to have a DVD drive as part of the build to read the disk … but it only costs $20. Actual legit. Usable software in hours. Create you own hard media at home if you want it. Not sure why others had issues, probably because it HAS to be on a NEW install, blank hard-drive, NOT an upgrade, or reload…. Well I had to update from Vista64 because some of the software. Drivers are not longer supported. I tried installing the Facebook app. It does not accept my password. I received this item quickly. In good condition. I was installing Windows 10 via bootcamp on my iMac. I only need Windows to program various scanners, and ham radio products that I have, and this is a good solution short of getting a PC, and is cheaper. The installation went well and works. All I really needed was the Product Key which is supplied in the form of a card in the packaging. I had downloaded Windows from the Microsoft website. But it is nice to have the USB flash drive, in case I need to install after a hard drive crash or some other calamity. I tried windows 10 Pro. Home on two different devices. One is a desktop that is pretty capable 8 cores middle to high end video card and 8 gigs of ram. The other is a work Laptop with an i5 and 4gigs of ram. So both are pretty decent and capable computers that I’ve enjoyed using with windows 7. I decided to do a clean install over Christmas of Windows 10 pro on my laptop with all the latest updates. In a nutshell it crashed twice in one week. Also seems slower than my windows 7 operating system. It does not seem stable enough to use for work purposes. So after a week decided to install windows 7 back on the Laptop. I just can’t risk my computer crashing in a work environment. I’m only giving this three start because I couldn’t load this on to my computer so am not sure the code is good or bad.
