It’s extremely annoying when windows starts updating after a restart. Very easy to install the info for the install was easy to follow. The DVD came in an envelope and I booted off it and installed Windows. Once it installed I needed a key. I was looking all over the place on the packaging and didn’t see one. Built a new computer. Needed W/10. Inserted a flash drive to download it from the Microsoft web site and it kept stopping at 98% and told me there was a problem. I decided to contact M/soft and ended up talking to a lass who proclaimed she was in training.
A great OS, but you there are annoying little things like it stressing your internet out of nowhere and programs like Word or Powerpoint need monthly subscriptions now. If you need Windows and can’t use Ubuntu because of some Windows-only applications, that’s too bad, but Win10 is one of the best Windows yet, I think. Doesn’t require much space at all. $100 for a half baked, buggy, confusing UI, useless features is a rip off.Oh and it ships with whole bunch of bloatware like games, useless 3rd party apps etc. Installed Windows with serial number on sealed envelope. Microsoft flagged it as already used on another machine. Extremely effecient. Time saving. Works great with every computer i’ve used it with. The product key worked with both my desktop. Laptop with no problems. I had downloaded the free Windows 10 update, but it just didn’t work well and was slow. I reinstalled from the disc. Had great results.
Software is good but expensive considering free or low cost alternatives. Only bought as wanted compatibility export recap pro to revitalise synonyms and antonyms with work PC’s. If I only used it at home I would have used a non microsoft product.

Thankfully, I can return the product to keyforrest in which I will just purchase it straight from Microsoft. Concur with the many reviewers that this is bogus software being sold. I verified this with a Microsoft online support when I gave him the product key. First time I’ve seen this with keyforrest.
Had an issue with cdkey being rubbed off but keyforrest sent me a replacement quickly. I was upgrading from Window Vista. Was very anxious about installing/using Windows 10.
