Keyforrest Autocad 2018 Not Working...A Good Surprise For FriendsI had to scratch of the key which looked like it hadn’t been tampered with, but it looks like I got ripped off anyway. Beware of all the OEM versions of the software. Activate it more than one on your computer. Microsoft will block it. I bought an OEM version on keyforrest. When I changed out to another motherboard. Tried to activate Windows its said the Product key is blocked. Microsoft rep said that all OEM products have a limited activation. To contact the OEM for a new product key. This is for any version of Windows 10 OS. Kit was sealed, activated without any issue and included license sticker in over-envelope. This kit comes with a DVD, but I recommend dowloading the newest build of Windows 10 from Microsoft and using that to install the OS. It saves a lot of time with updates and the like. Fulfilled by keyforrest, received a UK English install DVD, for a US customer. Set up local acct. All the other jazz I researched. Worked perfectly to upgrade a Win8.1 computer to Win10 Pro. Took a couple of hours, but everything went through without a hitch. AND the price was right - way less expensive than buying a license from Micro$oft - plus I have the actual disk if I need to reinstall. I didn’t realize it was an upgrade if you already had a different version of Windows 10. I need to install windows 10 on mu computer. I received a valid product code. Was able to activate Windows with no issues. Need I say more… they are Microsoft. They hold a monopoly on having an operating system that will support most software out there. Linux is good but does not run the software and hardware that I need. Also the automatic updates drive me mad at times. I consider Microsoft a necessary evil and nothing more. The security prevented me from getting my job done and someone I know in IT says it catches what you don’t want and it doesn’t catch all the bad stuff.
Almost as bad as win8 was, maybe they will some day get something right…. Its a windows no more to say, but I like the usb form and package. USB is the way to go Installing on a new PC build was extremely easy. I have no use for an optical drive, and this made my build even easier.
